JASON E. MOFFITT
Jason Moffitt, the quiet King emerging as an outspoken voice
of the 21st century. Prolific writer whose words and deeds
stay indelibly etched in the life of anyone who has ever read
his work or had the pleasure of watching him share his work
with a live audience.
A lifelong member of Nathaniel Gadsden’s Writer’s
Wordshop, Jason prefers his anonymity to the spotlight;
however he has an impressive performance resume ranging
from appearances at local clubs, television programs and
periodicals to sharing the stage with the likes of Sonia
Sanchez and Nikki Giovanni.
Mr. Moffitt has spent years as a wordsmith, mentoring young
writers beyond journal pages. He steps off the page out of
the book and into their lives to assist in any way he can.
Jason is influenced by the human curve, and the possibility of
peace and harmony as a collective spirit residing within.
A dedicated and loving father first, Jason believes in the
power of words to effect change and the power of patience
to see change through its many difficult phases. He openly
shares the highs and lows of his life knowing that for every
entertained person in the audience, there is one who is
moved toward their own healing. That’s to whom he speaks.

"Like standing in the rain...Jason's words can be thirst quenching, stinging, relentless, soul soaking...and inevitably renewing. I love this book"
- Bob Welsh, ASCAP-Plus award winning writer
